The East St. Louis Citizen’s Leadership Committee is now opening membership to residents and supporters who are ready to move from awareness to action.

This is a citizen-led working structure built to restore accountability, demand transparency, and protect the future of East St. Louis. We are organizing people around real issues affecting the city, including infrastructure, housing, education, economic opportunity, and government oversight.

This is not a symbolic effort. This is a working system.

Every role exists for action. Every member is expected to contribute. Every voice matters when it is backed by participation.

We are building a structure that includes:

• Core leadership roles focused on direction and oversight
• Open community membership for residents and supporters
• Action teams dedicated to accountability, community support, youth development, and outreach
• Flexible support roles for those ready to assist where needed

Whether your strength is organizing, documenting issues, supporting residents, mentoring youth, sharing information, or helping bring awareness, there is a place for you in this movement.

This committee is about building structure, applying pressure where needed, and creating real solutions for the people of East St. Louis.
